AFCON 2021 Qualifiers Predictions
The AFCON 2021 qualifiers comes hot on the heels of the preliminary round of matches which provided much entertainment for soccer fans, with some national teams coming back with huge scalps. Minnows, Sao Tome e Principe prevailed against all odds when they defeated Mauritius to earn a place into the group stages of the qualifiers for the 2021 AFCON tournament. Sao Tome was the only surprise package in the AFCON 2021 draw, with the country in 190th place according to the latest FIFA rankings for men’s football. After a poor showing at the AFCON 2019, Bafana Bafana will look to perform better this time around. They have roped in the services of a new head coach in Molefi Ntseki. He takes over from Stuart Baxter who lead the Bafana to the quarter-final stage of the competition in June. The new coach enjoyed a debut win against Mali in the Mandel Challenge and will hope that his chargers carry that momentum to the AFCON 2021 Qualifiers in November.

The tournament is scheduled to take place on June 2021 and will be hosted by Cameroon. This means that the Lions of Taranga have automatic qualification into the tournament.
